Who controls the bidding and purchase?
You approve the specific vehicle, complete price, bidding limit and purchase terms before our AI bidding service bids for you. Saving a wish list or previewing a plan does not activate bidding or authorize a purchase. The ChatGPT integration prepares plans and evidence; arrange the sourcing and bidding service with CarHound under the written agreement.
What if there’s no match for my dream car?
Save your criteria and contact CarHound to discuss a sourcing search. Before any sourcing deposit, we agree the vehicle criteria, maximum delivered price and deadline. If we cannot secure a buyer-approved car meeting those terms by the deadline, we refund the full sourcing deposit. Otherwise it is credited toward your purchase. Repair and delivery timing are agreed separately; cancellation and refund processing terms are set out in the written agreement.
Do I need a dealer license?
No. We handle the auction buying under your agreed vehicle offer. You don’t need a dealer license, your own transport or a repair shop.
How much can I save compared with a dealership?
The goal is to get you the car without the dealership’s retail markup. The amount depends on the car, its condition, repairs and complete delivered price. CarHound’s service has a margin too, included in your written offer. Compare that complete offer with a comparable dealer car before deciding.
Which cars can I browse?
Supported US Copart Pure Sale listings. Availability and prices change between inventory updates, so each one is rechecked before any purchase.
Do I need an account?
Not to browse or preview a plan. Connect an account when you want to save your criteria, shortlist and plan privately.
What happens when I email CarHound?
Your plan fills in the email, and you review and send it yourself. The conversation covers the seller, the vehicle, the complete price, repairs, delivery, and any deposit credit and refund conditions, before you commit.
Can I pay on the website?
Not currently. Neither the website nor the ChatGPT integration takes payments, deposits or agreements. Review an actual written offer first.
